Vermicompost

IPCA believes in closing the loop from waste generation to consumption, sending minimal amount of waste to the landfills. We therefore, make use of every possible waste material and recycle and process them to produce compost, paper, boards, clothes, electricity and other products.

IPCA has a vermicomposting centre in NOIDA. Organic waste such as left-over food, fruit and vegetable peels, etc collected from residential colonies, educational institutions and industries across Delhi/NCR is brought to the site. With the joint efforts of earthworms (Easinea foetida) and micro-organisms, the organic waste breaks down into a stable non-toxic material.

Our vermicompost has a good structure, potentially high value as soil conditioner and manure for plant growth.  The NPK of compost is in the ratio of 1:2;1 along with other essential micro and macro nutrient. The best thing about compost is that it contain micro-organisms like rizzobium, which can fix free nitrogen to nitrate and act as phyto growth regulator.
